He was predeceased by: his parents, Irven Moore Roper and Isabella Louise Vath; his wife Pearl "Kitty" Moran Roper; his stepson Walter Joseph Delle III; and his brothers, Charles S. Roper, William Z. Roper (Tedde) and James A. Roper (Ginger).
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Ashley E. Barbier and Walter W. Delle (Liz); his great grandchild Loki A. Delle; and his siblings, Irven Richard Roper (Dale), Joseph L. Roper (Kate), Patricia R. St. Angelo (Morris) and Mary R. Cramer (Mike). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
