It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Carmelo Saglibene of Slidell, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on December 19, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie Pacaccio Saglibene; his parents, Carmelo Saglibene and Claire Falco Saglibene Zitzmann; and his brother William "Billy" Morgan. He is survived by: his children, Charles Payne Jr. and Lisa Payne Hellmers (Paul); his siblings, Henry Morgan and Russell Saglibene; and his grandchildren, Chelbe Payne and Sammy Hurst.
