Edward John Giroir Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward John Giroir (Slidell, Louisiana), who passed away on May 15, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Landry Giroir and Edmee John Giroir; his son Stephen; and his siblings, Mildred Belin, Helen Navarre, Chuck, Cliff and Gerard Giroir.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Massarini Giroir; his children, Diane LaVerde (Tony), Barbara Savini (Billy) and Robert Giroir; his grandchildren, Anthony LaVerde (Jackie), Nicholas LaVerde (Tanika), Jennifer Lander Addessi (Albert), Chad Lander, Stephanie Giroir, Shannon Giroir, Edward Giroir and John Giroir; and his siblings, Vivian Trahan (Donald) and John Giroir (Winnie). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Donations to the Michael J. Fox Foundation For Parkinson's Research (http://www.michaeljfox.org) and the offering of Memorial Masses are preferred, in lieu of flowers.
