It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Paul Eckman of Slidell, Louisiana, who passed away on March 8, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Einar Eckman and Helen Eckman of Elkland, PA.. He is survived by: his wife Renate; his daughter Karen Eckman (Ron Jefferson) of Lacombe, LA; his sister Jean Ann Burfield (Richard) of Elkland, PA; his niece Amber Johnston (John) of Summerville, SC; and his sister-in-law Vela Rexford of Lincoln, CA. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
The family asks that donations be made in Edward's name to either the American Heart Association or Colonial Williamsburg Foundation at colonialwilliamsburg.org.
