She is survived by: her spouse Willie Batiste; her children, Madonna, Cindy (David) and Gerard (Vashita); her grandchildren, Carlis Sr., Anjel, Lacey, Gerard II, Chelsea, Ian, Kaitlyn, Alexandria and Jacob; her great grandchildren, Carlis Jr., Austin, Julian and Elijah; her sisters, Jeanette and Eleanora; and her siblings-in-law, Joyce, Mary Ann, Sedelia, Marie and Max. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins, friends.
