He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Dean Sr. and Lillian Pittman Dean; his wife Patsy Moran Dean; and his siblings, Yvonne Evans, Angeline Lowe, Alabess Crawford, Henrietta Welborn, Shirley Cuevas, William "Bobby" Dean and Larry Dean.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Dean-Schlosser (David), Henry "Hank" Dean III (Cathy) and Tammi Dean (Mark Kurucar); his siblings, James "Buddy" Dean and Carlotta Johnson; and his grandchildren, Henry "Denny" Dean IV (Gina), Christy Squires (Gary), Charisse Dean and Sean Dean. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and other relatives.
