He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenzie Penton and Mathilda Hunt Penton; and his brother Kenneth Penton. He is survived by: his wife Constance Barkemeyer Penton; his children, Danny Penton (Ruth), Randy Penton (Cheryl), Pam Mayeux (Mike), Robin Peeler (Mark), Michael Penton (Christy), Melissa Andrus (Jordan), Jennifer Lorino (Dave), Thena Taylor and Rose Carver; and his sister Ronda Thomas (Rodney). He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
