He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; and his parents, John and Emma Hickson Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Julie Hickson, Diane Breland (Roger) and John E. Hickson Susan Loper (James); his brother Kenneth Hickson (Gloria); his grandchildren, Katie, Sarah, Bayli, Benjamin, Blake and Taylor; and his great grandchild Elliot. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
