It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Stout Ardoin (Slidell, Louisiana), born in Opelousas, Louisiana, who passed away on April 14, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Valrie Stout and Mary Julie Arceneaux Stout; her son Elton Karl Ardoin (Deborah Capps); her grandson Christopher Joseph Ardoin; and her siblings, Gladys Tate, Elva Sonnier, Joyce Dejean, Hilda Joubert, George, Harold, Earl, Newton and J. C. Stout.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Elton Ardoin; and her children, Julienne Collingnon (Robert E.), Celeste Silbernagel (Joseph L. Sr.), Melinda Favalora (Douglas), Susan Maureen Ardoin and Brett Ardoin (Kelly Weibel). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
