He is survived by: his wife Crystal Ann Smith; his sons, Karl Nicholas Smith III, Ethan, Owen, Hudson, Shane Michael Linkous-Smith (KD) and Jackson; his grandsons, Connor and Landon; his brothers, Alan Smith (Darlene) and David Smith (Debbie); and his parents, Nick and Susan. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
