He was predeceased by: his wife Jessie Trahan Laurie; his son Keith Michael Laurie; and his parents, Michael Laurie and Hilda Weinmann Laurie. He is survived by: his sister Annie Alouise; his daughters, Shellie Gorecki (Donnie), Karen Dufrene and Lisa Henriquez (Jorge); his grandchildren, Amanda Gorecki Galiano (Joe), Corey Gorecki Mounce (Jason), Michelle Dufrene West (Ben), Lauren Dufrene, Adam Laurie (Sarah), Ryan Henriquez and Lexie Henriquez; and his friend Marilyn Nonemacher.
In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
