It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Sidney Belt Jr. of Slidell, Louisiana, who passed away on February 11, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd S. Belt Sr. and Hazel Nunez Belt; his sisters, Geraldine Belt Watson and Hazelyn Belt Uselis; and his sons, Lloyd S. Belt III of New Orleans and John Lloyd Hammerstone of New Orleans.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Lola V. Belt; his daughters, Cindy Belt Hebert and Donna Belt Grayson; his son-in-law Charles R. Grayson; his daughter Dorothea Adkins; his grandchildren, Christopher L. Prestridge, Brody P. Prestridge, Brian M. Grayson and Lexie Hammerstone; and his pet Tinker Belt. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
