He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenza Knight Jr. and Rita North; and his sister Kellen. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his sons, Scott (Julie M.) and Casey (Julie A.); his grandchildren, Sayler Engler (Jared), Logan and Gavyn; his great grandchildren, Grayson and Jameson Engler; his siblings, Lorrie, Keil, Kim and Earl Thomas; his aunt Anita Laporte; and his cousins, Leslyn, Craig, Kevin, Keith, Anita, Robyn, Reid, Marc and Christine. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Holmes requested that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army.
