It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marguerite D. Bensen (Slidell, Louisiana), who passed away on March 22, 2018, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Edward Bensen, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Judy B. Gourgues (Henry) and Edward Bensen III (Virginia); her grandchildren, Steven Michael Gourgues (Melissa), Russell Michael Gourgues (Dawn), Brian Michael Gourgues (Stefanie), Edward Bensen IV and Joseph Ponsetti; her great grandchildren, Lauren Megan Gourgues, Rebecca Madison Gourgues, Sarah Meredith Gourgues, Jack Henry Gourgues, Emma Katherine Gourgues, Abigail Claire Gourgues, Andrew Parrish Gourgues, McKayla Bensen, Kaitlyn Ponsetti and Mia Ponsetti; and her great great grandchildren, Anistyn and Honey.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Alzheimer Foundation.
