With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Newport Francioni of Slidell, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on September 10, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Jane Ellen "Janie" Francioni; her parents, George Calhoun Newport and Erin Katherine Rigney Newport; and her brother George "Bubba" Newport. She is survived by: her husband Norman Joseph Francioni, Sr.; her children, Mary Lynne Francioni Siebenkittel (Danny), Norman "Buddy" Joseph Francioni, Jr. (Evelyn) and John "Jack" Bland Francioni (Kelly); her grandchildren, Aimee, Michael, Randy, Emily, Gregg, Jonathan and Sarah Jane; and her siblings, Margaret "Margie" Shirer, William "Billy" Newport, Jack Newport and Nancy "Tiny" Boudreau. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
