He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin Fayard and Williemena Fayard; and his sister Marilyn Creppel. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Fayard; his children, Ross Fayard Sr., Jonny Fayard (Nicole), Heather Fayard Callais (Josh) and Melissa Fayard; his grandchildren, Ross Fayard Jr., Rebekah Fayard, Jonathan Fayard, Macie Callais, Joshua Callais Jr., Gunner Callais and Jade Hayes; and his great grandchildren, Sophia Fayard and Gemma Fayard.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Audubon Funeral Home & Cremation Services (61101 US-11, Slidell, LA 70458). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
As the owner of Fayard Insurance (Amstate Insurance), his work ethic and integrity were unmatched, and his contributions to the industry were widely recognized.
