She was predeceased by: her daughter Makana Marie Gomez; her father Robert Matranga; and her grandparents, Alfonso, Mejia, Vincent and Carrie Matranga.

She is survived by: her mother Sandra Mejia Matranga; her husband Ray Gomez; her daughter Grayce Gomez; her siblings, Darryl (Cori), Darren, Bobby (Rhonda) and Renee (Gil); her close friend Jayne Caballero (Louis); and her pets, Piper and Johnny Cash. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to the First United Methodist Music Ministry to keep "Raising A Hallelujah".
