It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pearl Delaune Roper (Slidell, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on November 3, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward "Eddie" Louis Roper; her son-in-law Mark "Chip" Cook; her parents, Edward "Eddie" Henry and Amelia "Alma" Antonia Strassel Delaune; and her sister Ruby Delaune LaBasse.

She is survived by: her children, Gaynell Roper Cook and Glenn Edward Roper; her daughter-in-law Terri N. Roper; her grandchildren, Kristen Layus (Patrick), Kati Craig (Doug) and Randy Roper (Leah); and her great grandchildren, Colby, Amelia, Kelly, Alice, Camille, Caroline and Julianne.
