He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Salvaggio and Mary Pisciotta Salvaggio; and his brother John Salvaggio. He is survived by: his spouse Marliene Revon Salvaggio; his children, Philip M. "Rooney" Salvaggio, Jr. (Cindy), Maria Natal (Ronnie), Tony Salvaggio (Nicole) and Angela Fayard (Jack, III); his brother Carlo Salvaggio; his grandchildren, Christopher Natal, Kaitlin Salvaggio, Trey Salvaggio, Zachary Salvaggio, Brindley Salvaggio, T. J. Salvaggio, Abby Fayard, Jackson Fayard, Michael Natal and Ronnie Natal, Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Haley Natal, Logan Natal, Avery Natal and Peyton Natal.
