He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Robert Patton Sr., Bessie Hudson Patton, Walter F. Thieneman, Sr. and Mathilde Bertel Thieneman Blackwell; and his parents, Walter F. Thieneman Jr. and Doris Patton Thieneman.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Long Thieneman; his children, Stephen W. Thieneman, Jr. (Lisa), Lauren Thieneman Jones (Alvin) and Matthew A. Thieneman (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Sadie, Abigail, Grace (Annalise Thieneman), Quinn (Grant Thieneman) and Everly (Alvin Jones V.); and his brother David R. Thieneman (Cindy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and caring friends.
