He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank E. Galle Sr. and Theone Picou; his daughter Margaret Annette Johnson; and his brother Frank E. Galle Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Celia" Vitari Galle; his daughters, Deborah Foushee, Sarah S. Traylor (Charles "Chuck") and Marge K. Galle; his stepsons, Brett K. Brumfield and Keith M. Brumfield (Emily); and his grandchildren, Margaret "Maggie" Traylor, Margaret Foushee and Ashley Huntington.
