He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henkel and Ruby Henkel; and his siblings, Linda Hilding and Howard Henkel. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Beall Henkel; his daughters, Pamela Henkel Hayes (Charles Kevin Hayes) and Amanda Henkel; his grandchildren, Mahalie Matassa, Mark Matassa, Matthew Matassa, Major Matassa, Kameron Dakin and Kody Dakin; and his sister Margaret Hewitt. He is also survived by his wife, daughters, grandchildren, parents, siblings, nieces and nephews, various cousins and relatives.
