With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorene Bilbra Elkins (Springfield, Louisiana), born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on February 11, 2019 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Campbell Bilbra and Elizabeth Abernathy Bilbra; and her siblings, Mildred Hooper, Helen Fogarty, Edith Campbell, Madelyn Bonds, Wilburn Bilbra and William Percy Bilbra.
She is survived by: her husband Claude K. Elkins, Jr.; her children, Janice Lynne Keene (Tommy), Deborah Kirby (Ed) and Claude "Bud" K. Elkins, III (Nancy); and her sister Christine Tanksley. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
