It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Bryan Gillis of Starks, Louisiana, who passed away on November 8, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Alton Jerry Gillis and Lurline Joyce Hollie Gillis; and his brother Harry Manuel Gillis. He is survived by : his wife Vera Gillis; his daughters, JaDene VanWinkle (John) of Buna and Breah Mitchell (Richie) of Singer; and his siblings, Jerry Lynn Gillis of Vidor, Harper Walter Gillis (Mary) of Starks and Mildred LaFleur (Ivan) of Ville Platte, Louisiana.. He is also survived by four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
