He is survived by : his close friend Mary Menard of Sunset; and his children, Michael Lavergne (Connie) of Sunset, Steven Lavergne, Connie Ortego (Ronald) of Opelousas, Pamela Marks (Dale) of Opelousas and Karen Meche (Joel) of Leonville.
