She was predeceased by: her parent Lenez Bertrand; her daughter Melissa Smith; and her sister Deannie Benoit. She is survived by: her husband Calvin Mire, Sr.; her sons, Chris Smith (Tammy) of Crowley, Travis Smith (Tiffany) of Dacula, GA., Calvin Mire, Jr. (Amy) of Sunset and Shannon Mire of Lafayette; and her sister Sally Britt of Jennings. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
