He was predeceased by: his parents, Elouise Peltier and Sylvester Peltier; his son Dana Peltier; and his siblings, Sylvester Peltier, Jr., Victoria Jones, Jackie Peltier and Yolanda Peltier.
He is survived by: his close friend Esther Shanklin; his daughters, Denitra Peltier and Shelly Henry; his siblings, Ronnie, Claude, Donald Peltier (Rose), Elaine Walker, Rita Bolt (Leroy) and Shaun Breaux (Alton); his aunts, Lillian R. Johnson and Eula Pearl Emanuel; his uncle Thomas Rhodes; his grandchildren, Rickey Adams, III, Carmelo Adams, Ronnie Gaudin, III, Royce Gaudin and Raegan Gaudin; and his godson Jarvis Wagner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
