She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Braud (Bubba Braud); her parents, Lawrence E. Blanchard and Ida Marie Clause Blanchard; and her brothers, Lawrence "LJ" Blanchard, Irving Blanchard and James.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles Braud Jr. (Janie), James Braud (Theresa), Thomas Braud (Sara) and Robert Braud; her sisters, Mary Ann Dill and Lorraine Barrilleaux; and her grandchildren, Martin Braud, Jennifer Norra, Jason Braud, Jeremy Braud, Allison Hills, Christopher Braud, Sara Brown, Michael Braud, Rachel Braud, Amy Reinmuller, Alex Braud, Dillon Braud, Lauren Braud and Matthew Braud. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
