She was predeceased by: her former husband Irby "Chuck" Boudreaux (Chuck); her parents, Mark Steib and Irene Steib; her sons, Charles Boudreaux and Christiaan Avonda; and her brother Mark Steib, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Bernadette Oncale (Gary), Suzanne Champagne (Stephen), Irby Boudreaux (Angela), Mark Boudreaux (Denise), Lisa Hicks (Kevin) and Francesca Dawdy (Armando); her grandchildren, Kristie Fannin (James), Garrett Oncale (Nicole), Benjamin Barker (Holly), William Barker (Abby), Joseph Boudreaux, Marci Oncale (Debbie), Alicia Thibodaux (Ian), Brandt Hicks (Nicole), Kathryn Schumacher (Dakota), Avah Avonda, Liam Dawdy, Aidyn Avonda and Connor Dawdy; her stepgrandchildren, Katherine Laub (Curtis), Matthew Champagne (Holly), Jason Champagne (Melissa) and Maja Blake (Todd); and her husband Frank Avonda. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (204 Madewood Dr, Thibodaux, LA 70301). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
