She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice Johnson and Lester Chapman; her grandparents, Robert and Cora Johnson; her siblings, Stephanie Johnson and Robert Johnson; her nephews, Ryan and Aaron Johnson; and her sister-in-law Theresa Oubre Johnson.
She is survived by: her son Emmanuel Smith Jr. of Vacherie; her sister Carolyn Henry of Chicago, IL.; and her godchildren, Stacy Haywood, Cornelius Jones, Jr., Tawanna Jones, Jessica Oubre, Maya Minor and Alyssia Ross. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relative and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (1244 Magnolia Heights St, Vacherie, LA 70090). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
