She was predeceased by: her husband Luther Johnson Russell; and her parents, Fulton Daigle and Rose Lily LeBleu. She is survived by: her daughters, Rose Smith (Christopher) and Jenny Matherly (Bob); her grandchildren, Jennifer Kruger, Matthew Humphrey, Daniel Matherly, Jonathan Humphrey (Damesha), Sarah Humphrey and Randall Humphrey; and her great grandchildren, Alana Hanninen, Ethan Palansky, Shiana Humphrey, Breanna Humphrey and Austin Matherly.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home (709 W Main St, Ville Platte, LA 70586). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
