She is survived by: her children, Mellie DeRouen (KC Heller) of Atlanta, Margaret DeRouen of Ville Platte, Pat DeRouen, Jr. (Lisa) and Greg DeRouen (Tracy); her grandchildren, M'Lea DeRouen Talbot (Everette) of Houma, Elby DeRouen (Jennifer), Brad DeRouen of Whiteville, Sam Heller of Boston and Caroline DeRouen Shipp (Seth) of Whiteville; her brother Wallence Ardoin; and her husband Pat DeRouen, Sr.. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home (709 W Main St, Ville Platte, LA 70586). A rosary was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church (1135 Parkview St, Ville Platte, LA 70586). A burial was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery (1401 S Chataignier Rd, Ville Platte, LA 70586).
