Maxie Fontenot Brown Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maxie Fontenot Brown of Ville Platte, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 27, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Charles Fontenot and Ezard Deville Fontenot. She is survived by: her children, Sandra McDaniel (Richard) of Ville Platte, Joann Soileau of Mamou, Cheryl Shirley of Metairie, Gloria Lee (Kenneth) of Metairie and David Brown (Veronica) of St. Rose, Louisiana; her sister Fready Guilliot (Thirteen) of Destrehan; her husband Hurey Brown; and her siblings, Essie Lafleur, Roy Fontenot, Adraste Fontenot, Merlyn Galland and Cline Fontenot. She is also survived by Thirteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church.
