It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melanie Fontenot Lafleur of Ville Platte, Louisiana, who passed away on September 28, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Jimmie. She is survived by: her husband Anthony "Tony" Lafleur of Ville Platte; her mother Jeanie Fontenot of Ville Platte; her children, Adam Lafleur (Nikki) of Reddell, Brandon Lafleur of Ville Platte and Lynn McDaniel (Donald) of Paris, TX; and her sister Deborah Jean "Debbie" Fontenot of Lafayette. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
