He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlis Joplin and Vida Mae Lankford; his sister Kathryn Carson; his wife Geraldine Spain Lankford; and his daughter Pam.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy (Dennis Moore) and Vickie (Kenny Fedd); his grandchildren, Amanda and Shannon Wall; his daughters, Stacey (Russell Little), Sue Moore, Taylor and Sarah Moore; his great grandchildren, Kayla, Tyler Broyles, Mathew Little, Carson, Addison Wall, Landon, Lucas Moore and Wren; and his siblings, Mickey (NinaKay Lankford) and Anna Beth (Jimmy Armstrong). He is also survived by one niece and several nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Vivian (311 N Pine St, Vivian, LA 71082). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
