He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Mary Ledet Leonard; his son Brian Leonard; his grandson Jeff Estay; his parents, Theophile Henry Leonard and Edna Ford Leonard; and his siblings, Rosalie Leonard Lancaster, Pearl Leonard Bollinger Sturbois, Earl A. Leonard Sr. and Theodore C. Leonard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mitzi Leonard Cody and Karla Leonard; his grandchildren, Raven Leonard, Rael Leonard Pitre, Taren Leonard Parks, Johnathon Leonard, Ralph "Rocky" and Debra Loupe Dunn; his stepson Carl Chauvin; and his pet Baby. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
