He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Wilson Hoover and Gladys Albin Hoover; and his siblings, Woodrow Dalton Hoover, Alton Clyde Hoover, Aldon Alcess Hoover and Charlett Erline Hoover.
He is survived by: his spouse Charleta Adcox Hoover; his daughter Sandy Hoover Eldridge (Aaron); his stepchildren, April Williams and Chad Mizell; and his sisters, Vivian Gregoire, Daisy Hoover Howell (Louis) and Robin Hoover. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
