She was predeceased by : her husband Franklin Carrel Sheffield; her parents, John Avant and Mae Washington; her brothers, Edward, Charles and Walter Avant; and her son-in-law Kenneth Evans.
She is survived by : her children, Charlotte (Don Crawley), Debbie Evans, Lenora Evans, Frank Murphy, Jr. (Carolyn), Elizabeth Harrison and Sandy Murphy. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; and fifty-six great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the McGehee Cemetery.
