He is survived by : his wife Julie Cooper; his children, Lori Vance, Bryan Cooper (Margaret) and Kelly Cooper; his stepsons, Jody Cobb and Johnny Cobb (Diane Boone); his daughters-in-law, Samantha Cobb and Kourtney Hill; his nieces and nephews, Bill Cooper (Jackie), Barron Magee, Nina Kenny (Patrick) and Janae Cooper; his sister Kathy Magee (Donnie); his sister-in-law Sue Dennis; his grandchildren, Clay Vance (Erin), Erika Givens (Sunny), Cassy Futch (Ryan), Debbie Krems (Erick), Sharon Potts (Ryan), Mary Young (Cody), Laurie Krumm (Greg), John Cooper, Sean Cooper, Danny Phillips (Morgan Christy), Savannah Phillips, Macy Jalaldin (Alec), Harley Cobb, John Michael Cobb, Adison Holly and Alayah McKnight; and his great grandchildren, Jeremiah Vance, Lily Vance, Faith Vance, Anna Vance, Avery Futch, Autumn Futch, Zayden Givens, Charlee Pardue, Finlee Pardue, Nova Cobb, Nolan Cobb, Mattie Jo Phillips, Tobias Krems, Druce Krems, Artemis Krems, Shelby Potts, Colton Young, Logan Krumm and Addie Krumm.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mulhearn Funeral Home - West Monroe (300 McMillan Rd, West Monroe, LA 71291). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at the St. Paschal's Catholic Church Cemetery (1500 Arkansas Rd, West Monroe, LA 71291).
