We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2018, at the age of 93, Claudine Coon (Winnfield, Louisiana), born in Jena, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Godwin and Cora Godwin; and her siblings, William Marvin "Bud" Godwin and Louise Godwin Burnett. She is survived by: her children, Margaret Coon of Winnfield, Mary Lou Blackley of Shreveport, Bill Coon (Karen) of Universal City, John Hicks (April), Allison Young (Lance) and Schertz; and her sisters, Rosa Mae Simmons of Shreveport, Mary Bert Arnold (Sid) of Jonesville and Gracie LeBlanc (Gene) of Abbeville.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Laurel Heights Baptist Church or the Parkinson's Disease foundation of the donor's choice.
