It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia King Austin (Winnsboro, Louisiana), born in Port Arthur, Texas, who passed away on November 6, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William L. Austin; her children, Gail Lyon and Ronald Austin; her sister Patricia Brashier; and her son-in-law Dr. Robert Lyon.
She is survived by: her children, Mike (Pat Austin), Judy (Gabe Jumonville), Brenda (Jeff Torsrud), Shirley (Randall McDonald) and Reneé (Scott Crawford); her great grandchildren, Cooper Lyon, William Lyon, Eli Lyon, Luke Reed, Jake Reed, Masyn Thompson, Hudsyn Thompson, Ryder Reeves, Hadlei Boyle, Hynlei Boyle, A. J. Brewer and Chandler Brewer; and her siblings, Fannie Dye and Bill King.
