It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eric Joseph Bergeron Jr. of Youngsville, Louisiana, who passed away on January 4, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Eric Bergeron Sr. and Nilda Perrera Bergeron; and his sisters, Nancy Russo and Willow Killion. He is survived by : his son-in-law Travis; his former life partner Diane Bergeron of Berwick; his daughters, Sharon Gates (Dirk) of Lafayette and Cherie Dietz (Travis) of Youngsville; his grandchildren, Brittany Dietz and Robert Howerter (Zoe Gates); his great grandchildren, Kaiden and Kolten Howerter; and his brother Terry Bergeron (Kathy).

The family has requested in lieu of flowers donations be made to Hospice of Acadiana.
