She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald D. Strickland; her parents, Nancy Cooper and Charles Howard Lester; and her brothers, Leroy and Leon Lester.
She is survived by: her siblings, Aaron Lester and Annette Lester Anthony; her children, Sandra Serrett (Darrell, Sr.) and Randall Strickland; her grandchildren, Francelle Guillet (Chip), Brittney Peraino (Sal) and Ashley Courville (Blaine); her great grandchildren, Reese, Logan Guillet, Gio, Margo Peraino, Cohen, Lawson and Brooks Courville; and her stepgrandchildren, Melissa Doucet, Darrell Serrett Jr. (Tootie), Mike Serrett and Jeff Serrett (Roberta). She is also survived by her niece.
