James Marion Norsworthy III Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Marion Norsworthy III (Zachary, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 26, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Marion "Hick" Norsworthy, Jr. and Aline Travis Norsworthy; his grandparents, James Marion Norsworthy, Sr. and Alma Dawson Norsworthy; and his aunt Elizabeth Norsworthy.
He is survived by: his wife Debra A. "Debbie" Norsworthy; his children, Toby Kay Norsworthy Pierce (Chad) and James Marion "Jamey" Norsworthy, IV (Renee); his daughter-in-law Carla Allen; his sister Vivian Norsworthy Anderson (Ronnie); his grandchildren, John Slade, Isabella Kay Edwards, Destini Pierce, James Marion "Jake" Norsworthy, Travis Norsworthy, Rileigh Darden, Olivia and Jace Allen; his great grandchildren, Jack and June West Darden; and his grandsons, John Slade Edwards, Cason Pierce, Talon Blanchard, Jake Norsworthy, Don McKey and Josh Perkins. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jackson United Methodist Church (1727 Sycamore St, Jackson, LA 70722). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Jimmy's honor—continuing his legacy of compassion of giving.
