She is survived by : her children, Joseph Young McKowen and Marie Angela McKowen Thornton (Earl Matthew Thornton); her grandchildren, Emily McKowen Rabalais (Myron James "Tic"), Cary Adele McKowen Henry (Michael David "Mike") and Henry; her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Ann "Liz" Batchelor McKowen; her brother Joseph McConnell Young; her sister-in-law Myrtle Joy Ledbetter Young; her grandchildren, Matthew Thomas "Matt" Thornton (Catherine English "Cat"), Josey Thornton, Michael McKowen "Mike" Thornton (Kristen Michelle Dann), Dr. James Grant "Jim" Rabalais (Lauren Elisabeth Browning), Dr. Reid Lanier Rabalais (Laine Mallory Culotta), Bonnie Elizabeth McKowen Rader (Aaron Travis Rader), Lauren Adele Courrege (Joshua Peter "Josh"), Crow and Anna Marie Rabalais (Michaela Grace Henry); and her great grandchildren, Austin Thomas Rader, Kowen Matthew Thornton, Rhett English Thornton, Carter Michael Thornton, Beau Everett Thornton, Alice Rhea Thornton, Sutton Elizabeth Rader, Emma Jane Rabalais, Eva Marie Rabalais and Millie Paige Rabalais.
