It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Joseph Bercegeay (Zachary, Louisiana), born in Gonzales, Louisiana, who passed away on October 4, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Bercegeay and Ruth Bercegeay; his son Jeffery Bercegeay; and his brother Ronald Bercegeay. He is survived by: his wife Leila Young Bercegeay; his daughter Shantel Braud (Dwight "Doddy" Braud); his stepchildren, Elena Coffman (Dale) and Douglas LaFargue (Rachel); and his siblings, Sherlyn Powers (David), Linen "Winky" Bercegeay (Catherine) and Kevin Bercegeay (Vickie). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Wounded Warriors Project.
