With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen A. Moore (Abington, Massachusetts), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 15, 2018 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her stepfather John Mackay; and her grandson Sebastian William Herrera. She is survived by: her husband Bill Moore of Middleboro; her children, Patrick Moore of New Bedford and Eileen Moore Herrera; her son-in-law Michael Herrera of Astoria, N. Y.; her grandchildren, Simon Patrick and Anna Lucia; her sister Susan Hartman; her brother-in-law Jerry Hartman; and her siblings, Steven Patterson and Marie Eccles.

Karen A. Moore passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease on October 15, 2018, at the age of 71.
