She was predeceased by : her husband Bill Purcell; her son Kenneth Gilbar; her son-in-law Craig Reese; her parents, Kenneth Wright and Isabelle Wright; and her siblings, Arnold Wright and Gail Soucier.
She is survived by : her children, Dan Gilbar (Stacy) of Hudson, MA, Mike Gilbar (Ileen) of Jericho, VT, Donna Reese of Lunenburg, MA, Bob Gilbar (Dottie) of Enosburg Falls, VT, Tracy Hulbert (Dan) of Port St and Tom Gilbar (Annie) of Niceville, FL.; and also, Phyllis Eisan, Wilfred Wright, Donald Wright and Terry Wright. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a classical liberal arts K-8 school started by her grandson.
