She was predeceased by: her husband Edward J. Hastings; her siblings, Helen Atwood (Poole) and Stewart Poole; and her cousins, Allison Stone and George Stone.

She is survived by: her parents, Grace Poole (Shaw) of Abington, MA. and Lester Poole of Abington, MA.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
