He is survived by: his children, Debbie Sanford (Neal) of Mattapoisett, Neil Phaneuf, Jr. (Kerstin) of Stow and Steven Phaneuf (Danielle) of Groton; his grandchildren, Shanleigh Heelan (Joseph), Shawn Sanford (Chelsea), Sydney Sanford, Cassidy Phaneuf, Alex Phaneuf, Avery Phaneuf, Ashton Phaneuf, Caileigh Phaneuf and Paige Phaneuf; and his great grandchild Wilson Heelan.
